Course Details

This free three hour course will provide you with an introduction to British Sign Language and help break down barriers to communication.

Introduction to British Sign Language (BSL) and its importance in communication
Basic BSL vocabulary for everyday interactions (greetings, common phrases, etc.)
Introduction to finger spelling (alphabet)
Key BSL signs for carers (healthcare-related, family roles, emotions)
Practical activities and role-playing to reinforce learning
