What I enjoyed the most about going to Hugh Baird College was learning something new every day and developing myself each week in to a better painter and decorator. The tutors made my learning fun which helped keep me focussed. The staff have great links with employers and they were always telling us how important it is to have the right attitude and good attendance as this is what employers want.
Listen to your tutors and take on board all the advice they give you. They want you to achieve and get a job. Also, don’t miss classes as each week builds on the week before so if you miss a week, you will find it tough to catch up.
