Access to Higher Education
Q&A
Jade said:
I chose to study the Access to Higher Education - Social Care at Hugh Baird College, as the College is right on my doorstep and offers great part-time qualifications that can give me my first step into getting a degree.
By studying the course and working, it meant I could link my job to my education and gave me a better insight into the industry I work in. The course is really interactive and still allows me time to work and study.
I am so happy that I decided to enrol on the Access to Higher Education - Social Care course, as it has allowed me to study Mental Health Nursing at Liverpool John Moores University.
Jade's advice:
Definitely do it! It's the best thing I ever did, I almost quit half way through but with the support of my tutor, I never gave up. I've learnt so much about myself.
