Hugh Baird College is well known for the outstanding support on offer for their students, alongside the great reputation the Construction department has, so that’s why I chose to study here. I decided to opt for the apprenticeship route to gain hands-on experience and my first steps into my career.

I have been continuously supported at Hugh Baird College since I first stepped through the doors. I have gained knowledge and experience from my tutors, that I don’t believe I would have received anywhere else. I really enjoy being out in the workplace four days a week and in college one day a week. The best part is, I get to earn money whilst I learn.
