I first studied my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) qualification at Hugh Baird College to become a teacher. After years passed, I decided to return to College to study the Level 2 Counselling and found the part-time classes much more manageable whilst working.
Attending College as an adult learner, with all the pressures of work and home life can be very daunting. Most Colleges look like a place that only caters for 16-18 year olds, with most adult learners being out of education for many years. The support available through your tutors and the Student Services Team is great, I am so glad I did it.
