When searching for colleges to apply for, I discovered for amount of unique courses Hugh Baird College had to offer, in subjects I’d never had the chance to study at school. I decided to study the Motor Vehicle course. I learnt how to think quickly on my feet and to solve problems in a car workshop like no other.
When I started at the College I had no GCSE’s, the tutors really gave me the chance I needed. I now have GCSE’s and will soon have a Level 2 qualification to add to my CV. My next step is to gain an apprenticeship in the motor vehicle industry.
